Martha Davis Pollock

MRS. MARTHA POLLOCK Mrs. Martha Davis Pollock, 89, of LaGrange, died Monday, April 1, 2013, at Florence Hand Home. Born March 26, 1924, in Box Springs, Mrs. Pollock was the daughter of the late Calvin Grady Davis and Mary Elizabeth Jackson Davis. She had lived in Hogansville and LaGrange for twenty years and was a former resident of Zebulon. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Griffin, was retired from Kroger, and was the wife of the late A. G. Pollock. Survivors include her daughters and son in-law, Marty and Aaron Barnett of Grantville, Joann Miller of Jackson; sons and daughter in-law, Ray and Denise Spangenberger of Riverdale, Roy Spangenberger of Conyers; sister, Mary Elizabeth Holmes of Montana; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will hold a memorial service at a time and place to be announced later. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
