Martha Hosmer

MRS. MARTHA HOSMER Mrs. Martha Hosmer, 63, of Grantville, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Hosmer was born August 27, 1946 in Macon. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eva Goolsby Wadsworth and was a member of Spirit Filled Ministries in Hogansville. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Wayne Hosmer, of Grantville; a son and daughter in-law, Brian and Lori Hosmer, of Newnan; daughters and son in-law, Kim and Kevin McGhee, of LaGrange, and Missy McDowell, of Grantville; Sisters, Lucile Cohran and Maxine Sullivan, of Douglasville, Doris Patterson, of Carrollton, Dolly Nixon, of Whitesburg, and Shirley Brown, of Franklin; Brothers, Freddie Wadsworth, of Douglasville, and Clyde Wadsworth, of Franklin; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Friday, March 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Revs. Brian Hosmer and Don Howard will officiate and interment will be in the Faith Baptist Church Cemetery in the Primrose Community of Meriwether county. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Thursday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
