MRS. MARSHA KATTER Mrs. Marsha Williams Katter, 58, of Waleska, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Marsha was born December 18, 1956, in Hogansville, was a graduate of Hogansville High School, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree from LaGrange College. She taught in public school for several years until the birth of her sons when she became a stay at home mother and homeschooled her children. She had lived in Waleska since 1995 and was an active member of Action Church in Canton, where she was involved in the clothing ministry and the food pantry. Survivors include her husband, Tony Katter of Waleska; sons and daughter in-law, Joe and Lensey Katter of Canton, Andrew Katter of Waleska; grandchildren, Whit Katter and Payne Katter her mother, Joyce Williams of Hogansville; and brother and sister in-law, Dill and Anita Williams of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack D. Williams. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Gary Lamb and Dr. Clinton Hughes will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 Thursday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 5 until 7 Thursday night, September 10th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 11th, in the Chapel of Claude A.
