Mark E. Swaney

Mr. Mark E. Swaney, 61, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Mr. Swaney was born March 10, 1959, in Atlanta, son of the late Harold Henry Swaney and Kate Elizabeth Perry Swaney. He had lived in Heard County most of his life and was employed as an auto mechanic. Survivors include his daughter, Tracy McCormick and her husband Allen McCormick of Grantville; sons, Mark Swaney, Jr. and Laura Swaney, and Harold Swaney, all of Hogansville; sister, Glenda McCoy and her husband Ricky McCoy, of Ft. Payne, AL; and six grandchildren. Friends may visit the funeral home Tuesday, May 19, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. for viewing and to sign the guest register.
