Mark Frazer Sinks

Mr. Mark F. Sinks, 57, of Valley, Alabama, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018, at his hom e. Mr. Sinks was born October 18, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Robert Sinks and the late Nancy Clark Franz, and was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenan Sinks. A resident of the Atlanta area before making his home in Valley, he was a longtime resident of Minneapolis. Minnesota, where he had served as head chef for a number of fine restaurants for twenty years. He loved animals, swimming, cliff diving, and all water-related activities and was a loving husband and son in-law, who enjoyed taking care of his wife, mother in-law and their home. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Sinks; and his mother in-law, Bobbie Shaply, both of Valley; his sisters, Melanie Vodnick of Seattle, WA, Michelle Hunt-Graham of Minneapolis, MN; nieces, Lauren Vodnick and Kennedy Hunt; and nephew, Dayton Hunt A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 4, at Miracle Tabernacle Family Worship Center in Newnan, with the Reverend Richard T. Clay officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
