Mark Joseph King

Mr. Mark Joseph King, 71, of Grantville, GA, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024, at his home.

Born August 3, 1952, in Boston, MA, Mr. King was the son of the late Mark Joseph King and Mary Ellen Murray King. He served as a Boy Scout leader for many years, was a longtime resident of Pembroke, MA before making his home in Grantville, GA in 2011, and was a former member of the Grantville City Council. He enjoyed boating, fishing and camping and loved to tinker on and repair cars.

Survivors include his wife, Robin King of Grantville, GA; daughter, Nicole King of Grantville, GA; sons, Michael King and his wife Emily of Rhode Island, Christopher King and his wife Sarah of Middleboro, MA, Mark King of Grantville, GA, Sean King of Pembroke, MA; sisters, Carole Alves of Abington, MA and Susan Sorrento of Plymouth, MA; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard King.

A memorial service is not being planned at this time.
