MR. KIM HAMMOND Mr. Marion Kim Hammond, 52, of Hogansville, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 26, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dwayne Perdue and the Reverend Harry Gann will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night. Mr. Hammond was born December 22, 1960, in Newnan, and lived in Hogansville most of his life. He was a veteran of service in the U. S. Army, had been employed as a store manager for Hardee's, and was a member of Mountville Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, Jonathan Hammond of Goosecreek, SC; his mother, Carolyn Hammond of Hogansville; brother, Mark Hammond, also of Hogansville; and granddaughter, Ariel Hammond of Goosecreek. He was preceded in death by his father, William Marion Hammond, and his brother, James Michael Hammond. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
