MRS. MARILYN WOODWARD Mrs. Marilyn Payne Woodward, 57, of Hogansville, died Monday, October 26, 2009, at her home. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29, at Luthersville Baptist Church. The Reverend Tommy Worthey will officiate and interment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge at 3:15 p.m. Mrs. Woodward was born April 4, 1952, in Atlanta , daughter of the late George Richard Payne and the late Annie Bernice Sullivan Payne. A resident of Meriwether county since 1988, she was employed as an administrative assistant at Christian City. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of Luthersville Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir and served as a soloist. Mrs. Woodward enjoyed photography and was known as a good cook. Survivors include her son, Kenny Woodward of Hogansville; sister and brother in-law, Judy and Scott Rimke of Sissonville, WV; brother and sister in-law, Marvin and Debbie Payne of Greensboro; and her granddaughter, Kendal Bernice Woodward. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Wednesday night, October 28th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29th, at Luthersville Baptist Church Interment: Fairview Memorial Gardens at Stockbridge at 3:15 p.m.
