MRS. MARIE WINGATE Mrs. Marie Freeman Wingate, 69, of Hogansville, died Friday, August 13, 2010, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 16, at Callaway Park Church of God in LaGrange. The Reverend Lonnie Bennett, the Reverend Mark Davenport and the Reverend Michelle Davenport will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Born November 1, 1940, in Hogansville, Mrs. Wingate was the daughter of the late Thomas Junior Freeman and the late Hazel Turner Freeman. She was a lifelong resident of Hogansville and was a member of Callaway Park Church of God. Surviviors include her husband, Warren Wingate of Hogansville; sons and daughters in-law, Jeffery and Johna Wingate of Hogansville, Michael and Lisa Wingate of LaGrange, Kevin and Melissa Wingate of Covington, LA, Travis and Julie Wingate of Newnan; sisters, Nancy Freeman and Brenda Freeman, both of Hogansville; brothers, Gene Freeman of Hogansville, Larry Freeman of LaGrange, and Tommy Freeman of LaFayette, GA; and grandchildren, CeCe, Matthew, Katie, Jackson, Jordan, Michael, Kimi, Adriana, Sarah, Sierra, Rachel, Garrett, Alec, and Bean.
