MRS. MARIE HAY ROBINSON
Mrs. Marie Hay Robinson, 93, of Hendersonville, NC and formerly of Hogansville, died Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Carillon Assisted Living Center in Hendersonville.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with Mr. Charles Spradlin officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside.
Born June 3, 1917, in Troup County, Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late Carl and Ira Gamble Hay. She lived in Thomaston and was employed at B. F. Goodrich Martha Mills and then lived in Hogansville for many years, retiring from Uniroyal, Inc. She was the wife of the late B. J. Robinson and was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Brenda and Jim Hart of Hendersonville, NC, Vickie and Al Pierce of Richmond, VA; three grandchildren, Julie and Dwayne Capps, Trey Hart, Sarah and Justin Movre; and great-grandchildren, Jason Moore, Larissa Capps, Laiken Capps, and Larena Capps.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
