MISS ALICE SMITH Miss Margaret Alice Smith, 51, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. Miss Smith was born May 30, 1964, in Buford, daughter of the late Margaret Cole Smith and the late Robert Dewey Smith. A former resident of Gwinnett County, she had lived in Hogansville since 1987, had attended Sovereign Grace Church in LaGrange, and was employed for ten years by Answering West Georgia in LaGrange. Survivors include her sister, Lisa Smith of Hogansville; aunts, Cordie Hancock of Griffin and Jackie Cole of Manchester; and several cousins. The family will host a memorial service at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, September 20, at Sovereign Grace Church in LaGrange, with Pastor Russell Tusing and Pastor Joseph Chirwa officiating. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with the expenses. Claude A.
