Margaret Sims Johnson

Margaret Sims Johnson, 73, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Twin Fountains Home.

Miss Johnson was born November 17, 1950, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Johnny Noble Sims and Tavie Tarwater Sims. A lifelong resident of Troup County, she was employed at Playtex International and then was employed by Ropak Packaging for a number of years prior to her retirement. She loved music and enjoyed singing, dancing, and playing the piano, and was also an animal lover and especially enjoyed her cats.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 29, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Terry Rainwater will officiate and interment will be in the Pine Mountain Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Friday, prior to the service.
