Lynda Diane Nichols

LYNDA NICHOLS Lynda Diane Nichols, 70, of Newnan, passed away at her home. Ms. Nichols was born April 23, 1945, in Troup County, daughter of the late John Nichols and the late Pauline Boyd Nichols Kee. A resident of Coweta County most of her life, she was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a very skilled seamstress, enjoyed quilting, and had a special talent of designing and altering clothing. Survivors include her son, Jeffery Scott Beckom and his wife, Joan of Carrollton; daughters, Sandra Beckom Lee and her husband, Jerry of Jasper and Kristen Elizabeth Beckom of Marietta; sisters, Faye Wrenn of Memphis, TN, Katie Moon of Roanoke, AL, and Earnestine Scott of Haines City, FL; brother, Roy Nichols of Newnan; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family will host a memorial service at 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 20, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Newnan, with Pastor Jimmy Evans officiating. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
