Lucy E. Jones

Miss Lucy E. Jones, 88, of Hogansville, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Florence Hand Home in LaGrange. Miss Jones was born September 14, 1929, in Red Level, Alabama, daughter of the late Herbert and Naomi King Jones. A resident of Hogansville since 1972, she was a homemaker and had attended Trinity Worship Center. Survivors include her sisters, Carol Perkowski, Mary Janice O'Neal, and Charlotte Faye Livings; brothers, Ronnie Jones and Joe Jones; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, October 7, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend David Simmons will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
