MRS. LUCILE SNYDER Mrs. Lucile Wright Snyder, 79, of Hogansville, formerly of Ocilla and Arabi, died Thursday, August 27, 2009, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 30, at the graveside in Tift Memorial Gardens in Tifton, with Dr. Danny Ray officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals in Tifton Mrs. Snyder was born on December 19, 1929 in Arabi and was the daughter of the late Gus Wright and the late Callie Wright Mitchell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Snyder; one sister, Faustine Wright Hudson; and one granddaughter, Aimee Groce. Mrs. Snyder graduated from Arabi High School in 1947; attended a short while at the August Technical College and worked in the medical field for over 15 years. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Tanya Sanders of Carrollton, John Lowary of LaGrange; daughter, Callie Thornton of Hogansville; sister, Zonella "Jackie" Wright Carter of Sebring, Florida; step-children, James C. and JoAnn Snyder of Tifton, Eugene and Denise Snyder of Cordele, Terry and Brenda Snyder of Turner County, Patsy and Dan Shealy of Winterville, Christine and Jimmy Albritton of Moultrie, Joanne and Tom Burton of Crawford and Mary Nell and Steve Greer of Tifton; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
