MRS. LOUISE BROWN Mrs. Louise "Lou" Pike Brown, 71, of LaGrange, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Hospice LaGrange. Born January 30, 1942 in Hogansville, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Lewis and Ada Brazell Pike. A resident of Forest Park until 1987, Mrs. Brown owned and operated Lou's Coffeurs on Main Street in Forest Park and was a member of the Hogansville Church of God. Survivors include her daughters, Syretha Gardner and her husband, Gerry, of Hogansville and Deneen Denney-Oechsle and her husband, Dennis, of Stockbridge; sisters, Beula Smith of Douglasville and Carolyn Perkins of LaGrange; brother, Bill Pike of Albany; and four grandchildren, Tuesday and Riley Gardner and Dekota and Devyn Denney-Oechsle. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, at the Hogansville Church of God with the Reverend Randall Hodge and Reverend Lonnie Bennett officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 until 2 Sunday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: 1 until 2 Sunday, September 29th, at the Hogansville Church of God. Services: 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29th, at the Hogansville Church of God.
