Mrs. Lorrine Watson Allen, 68, of LaGrange, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016, at Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta. Mrs. Allen was born August 14, 1947, in Carroll County, daughter of the late William Elixender Watson and Ruthie Taylor Watson. A resident of LaGrange most of her life, she was a homemaker and was deeply devoted to her family. Survivors include her sons, David Hyatt, Randy Hyatt and his wife Kim, Raymond Hyatt, Tommy Hyatt and his wife Teresa, all of LaGrange; sister, Nell Posey of LaGrange; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her husband, Jerry Allen of LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with interment in the Veal Cemetery in Carroll County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
