MRS. LOLA MAE GREEN HENDRIX Mrs. Lola Mae Green Hendrix, 83, of Newnan, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at her home. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Willow Heim will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 Friday evening. Mrs. Hendrix was born July 19, 1930, in Fairfax, Alabama, daughter of the late Charlie Frank Green and Lula Mae Green Hill. A resident of Eufaula, Alabama for six years before making her home in Newnan in 2005, she lived in Red Oak for many years and was a member of Buffington Road Christian Church. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Nancy and Mike Mehan of Newnan; son and daughter in-law, Greg and Brenda Hendrix of Jasper; grandchildren, Tiffany Cory and her husband, Jason, Tyler Hendrix, Matthew Mehan and his wife, Jillian, Lindsey Gantt and her husband, Jason; and great-grandchildren, Gracie Gantt, McCoy Mehan, Palmer Mehan, Jordan Cory, Abbey Cory. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hugh Hendrix. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
