Lois Cash Martin

Mrs. Lois Cash Martin, 89, of Grantville, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Martin was born June 1, 1931, in Roopville, daughter of the late Clifford Cash and Addie Bonner Cash. A resident of the Atlanta area for many years, she returned to the Hogansville area in 1995. She had been employed as a weaver in the textile industry, having worked at Uniroyal in Hogansville and Scottdale Mills in Decatur. Survivors include her daughter, Valerie Greathouse; her sons, J. C. Crumbley, Jr. and Timothy Crumbley, all of Grantville; seventeen grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Martin; daughter, Connie Faircloth; sons, Danny Crumbley, Kenneth Crumbley, and Christopher Crumbley The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 5, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
