MRS. LOIS W. JACKSON
Mrs. Lois Williamson Jackson, 90, of Grantville, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, at her home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 23, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randy Gilbert and the Reverend Jonathan Hannah will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 until 11 Monday morning.
Mrs. Jackson was born March 9, 1921, in Heard County, daughter of the late Hope Hull Williamson and Ruby Lois King Williamson. She lived in Grantville for 58 years, was retired from West Point Pepperell Manufacturing Company, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Grantville.
Survivors include daughters and sons in-law, Jean and Bobby Hayes of Newnan, Joy and Dick Alford of Georgetown, TN, Marie and Bill Drake of Littleton, CO, Diane and E. W. Hannah of Roanoke, AL; sons and daughter in-law, James and Paige Jackson and L. H. Jackson, all of Grantville; fifteen grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dewey Jackson, and her son, William Dewey (Buck) Jackson, Jr.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
