Logan Hunter Thompson

Logan Hunter Thompson, 22 month-old son of Jessica and Jason Thompson of Luthersville, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. Logan was born August 20, 2015, in Newnan and was a lifelong resident of Meriwether County. He loved Elmo and was always happy, smart and fearless. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Evan Haynes and Brantley Thompson; his grandparents, Debbi and Wayne Haynes and Mark Thompson, all of Luthersville; great-grandmothers, Pam Hendricksen of McDonald, TN and Ruthie Mae Murphy of Luthersville; and aunts and uncles, Amanda and Joe DePane and John Haynes. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Donny Shelton will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
