Lisa Wilson Wingate

Mrs. Lisa Wilson Wingate, 38, of LaGrange, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016, of injuries received in an automobile accident in Troup County. Mrs. Wingate was born May 27, 1978, in LaGrange and was a lifelong resident of Troup County. She earned an Associate degree from Columbus Technical College and was employed as a dental assistant at Love Dental Clinic at Fort Benning. Survivors include her husband, Michael Wingate; her daughter Michaela Wingate; and her mother, Marie Wilson, all of LaGrange; brothers, Jimmy Wilson of LaGrange, Tim Wilson of Newnan, James Brockway of Franklin, Brandon Hogan and Rusty Hogan, both of LaGrange; and her birth father, Seaborn Brockway and his wife Kathy of Luthersville. She was preceded in death by her adoptive father, James Boyd Wilson, and her sister, Wanda Hogan. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
