LISA MILLAR

Lisa Marie Millar, 47 of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024 due to injuries received in an automobile accident.

Lisa was born November 12, 1977 in Riverdale and lived most of her life in Hogansville. She was Baptist by faith, loved reading, and watching movies. Lisa worked at Tina's Learning Center in Sharpsburg and loved going to yard sales. She was a caring mother who loved and would do anything for her children.

Survivors include her children, Chris Millar (Skylar) of Hapeville, Savannah Millar, Gracie Wheeler, and Laura Millar, all of Hogansville; her mother, Sandra Morris of Hogansville; her father, Michael Millar of Newnan; her sister, Michelle Smith (Steve) of Newnan; brother, Nick Millar (Kayla) of Valdosta; her former husband and friend, John Wheeler of Hapeville and his children, Heather Wheeler and Kay Wheeler of Fayetteville; step-sisters, Dixie Morris and Martha Thacker (Mike) of LaGrange; 6 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lisa was preceded in death by her step-father, Rick Morris.

Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Skidmore officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 until 6 and following the service on Thursday.
