Lisa Gibson Folds

Mrs. Lisa Gibson Folds, 53, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Folds was born January 19, 1964, in Atlanta and had lived in Troup County since 1970. A certified nursing assistant, she had been employed as a personal caregiver and was Baptist by faith. Her family was the most important part of her life and she dearly loved her husband, children, and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Danny Folds; daughter, Nikki Folds and J.R. Kennedy; sons, Emory and Ashton Folds, Patrick and Katie Folds, all of LaGrange; sister, Cathy Hand of LaGrange; brother, Charles Tarwater, Jr. of Buford; her mother and step-father, Frances and Charles Tarwater of LaGrange; and grandchildren, Daniel, Caleb, Emorson, Marina, James, Rylee, Makaylie, Brantley, and another grandchild soon to arrive. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, at the graveside in the Godby Family Cemetery in College Park, with the Reverend Aaron McCollough officiating. Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Monday, January 1, at the funeral home. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
