Linda Fay Moon

Mrs. Linda Fay Moon, 69, of Hogansville, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Moon was born December 20, 1952, in Metter, daughter of the late Elton Clyde Mills, Sr. and Minnie Voncile Hines Mills. A former resident of Stockbridge, she retired from K-Mart and had made her home in Hogansville since 2016. She loved her animals, enjoyed farming and maintaining her land, and loved flowers.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Mike Moon of Hogansville; daughter, Dana Lee Rowe of Buchanan; sons, Michael Rowe of Hogansville, David Rowe of Elijay; sisters and brother in-law, Deborah and Jackie Kuhn of Locust Grove, Betty Hill of Ellenwood; brothers and sisters in-law, Elton Clyde Mills, Jr. of Jackson; Doyce and Kat Mills and Ronnie Mills, all of Stockbridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Holtcamp.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 25, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Greg Morris will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday.
