Linda Hosmer Mitchell

MRS. LINDA MITCHELL Mrs. Linda Hosmer Mitchell, 67, of Hogansville, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 9, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend James Calhoun and the Reverend Brian Hosmer will officiate and interment will be in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery in the Primrose Community of Meriwether county. Mrs. Mitchell was born May 20, 1940, in Searles, Alabama, daughter of the late Thomas Monroe Hosmer and the late Rosie Eaton Hosmer. She lived in the Hogansville area most of her life and was a member of Family Worship Center in Hogansville. Survivors include her husband, Horace Mitchell of Hogansville; daughters and sons in-law, Crystal and Tim Moore and Bernice and Richard Stephens, all of Hogansville, and Virginia and Ricky Elkins of Franklin; son and daughter in-law, Matt and Kim Mitchell of Hogansville; sisters and brothers in-law, Virginia and Michael Duchesne and Alice and Paul Whitten, all of Hogansville; brothers and sisters in-law, Dood Hosmer of Moreland, Eugene and Hazel Hosmer of Luthersville, Jerry and Martha Hosmer of Grantville, and Bobby and Bernice Hosmer of Murfreesboro, TN; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 9 Wednesday night and Thursday night Services: 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 9th
