Linda Gail Gasaway

Mrs. Linda Gail Gasaway, 70, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Gasaway was born August 25, 1947, in Meriwether County and lived in Troup County most of her life. She was Baptist by faith and retired as a switchboard operator from West Georgia Medical Center after 25 years of service. Gail enjoyed reading, shopping and yard sales, and especially loved her pets and animals. Survivors include her husband, Ray Gasaway of Hogansville; sister in-law, Faye English and her husband John of Lithia Springs; nieces and nephews, including Deanna Costley of Hogansville; and her faithful dog, Rene. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Russell, and her brother, Cotton Russell. The family is not planning a service at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LaGrange-Troup County Humane Society. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
