Linda Russey Booker

Mrs. Linda Russey Booker, 81, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at her home.

Mrs. Booker was born September 13, 1942, in Jefferson County, AL, daughter of the late Frank Ernest Russey and Mildred Agnes Marlin Russey. She worked many years in claims service for State Farm Insurance Company and had attended Dawson Baptist Church in Homewood, AL. She enjoyed living a good life.

Survivors include her brother, John Russey and his wife, Detra Russey, of Hartselle, AL; step-daughter, Fran Farbizio and her husband, Arthur Farbizio of Powder Springs, GA; step-son, Lewis H. "Bo" Booker III and his wife, Mary Lauridson Booker, and their daughter, Haley Booker-Lauridson of Norcross, GA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis H. "Bubba" Booker, Jr.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. (EDT), Sunday, May 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Terry Rainwater officiating. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Sunday, prior to the service.
