Lewis Q. Yarbrough

MR. LEWIS YARBROUGH Mr. Lewis Yarbrough, 86, of Hogansville, died Saturday, January 10, 2009, at Randolph Medical Center in Roanoke, AL. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Brandon Brooks will officiate and interment will be in Carroll Memory Gardens in Carrollton. Born January 29, 1922, in Carroll county, Mr. Yarbrough was the son of the late William and Della McCain Yarbrough. He lived in Hogansville most of his life, retired from Uniroyal, Inc. after 21 years service, and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Yarbrough of Hogansville; son and daughter in-law, Sherman and Lynn Yarbrough of Panama City Beach, FL; step-sons and daughters in-law, Tony and Donna Johnson of Hogansville, Ronnie Johnson of Panama City Beach, and Lamar and Elaine Johnson of Sharpsburg; sisters, Doris Willis of Carrollton and Gertrude Webb of Glenloch; brother and sister in-law, J.W. and Geneva Yarbrough of Chatsworth; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 4 until 7, Sunday evening, January 11th, at Claude A.
