Lea F. Martin

Mrs. Lea F. Martin, 61, of Luthersville, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, after a brief battle with cancer. Mrs. Martin was born May 10, 1960, in Homerville, daughter of the late Edward and Wilma Pittman Fender. A resident of Meriwether County most of her life, she had been employed as a payroll accountant and was a dedicated Christian and member of Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange. She enjoyed embroidering, crafting, and working with ceramics. Survivors include her husband, Dennis Martin of Luthersville; son, Justin Martin of Savannah; grandchildren, Rylan Joseph Martin and Cade Sawyer Martin; and sisters, Lynn Berry and her husband Rev. Bruce Berry of Hampton, Debbie Stephens and her husband Dennis Stephens of Vidalia. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 5, at Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange, with Dr. Donald Yancey and Rev. Bruce Berry officiating.
