Lawrence Douglas Reeves

Mr. Douglas Reeves, age 86, of Senoia, passed away Friday, November 6, 2026, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Mr. Reeves was born March 17, 1940, in Luthersville, son of the late Luther Alton Reeves and Olene Presnell Reeves. A resident of Coweta County most of his life, he was a retired framing contractor and had owned and operated Reeves Construction Company. He was Baptist by faith, enjoyed birdwatching, and loved gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Reeves of Senoia; his children, Ricky Reeves (Beth Reeves) of Moreland, Andy Reeves (the late Elizabeth Reeves) of Carrollton, Terri Reeves of Newnan, Tammy Reeves of Grantville, and Lauren Reeves Knight (Bailey Knight) of Newnan; ten grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and sisters, Jenean Wilson, Pam Crowe, and Karen Wall. He was preceded in death by his son, Kerry Reeves.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville with Pastor Brian Hosmer officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.
