Lawrence C. Beall

MR. LAWRENCE C. BEALL Mr. Lawrence C. (Larry) Beall, 78, of Hogansville, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus. Mr. Beall was born July 18, 1933, in Atlanta, to the late Lawrence and Mattie Gordy Beall. He was a longtime resident of Decatur before making his home in Hogansville about ten years ago. He was a veteran of service in the U.S. Army and was employed for many years by the Tenneco Oil Company. After his retirement he was employed at Wal-Mart in Newnan. Survivors include his nieces and nephew, Rhonda Beall Swafford and her daughter, Hannah Beall, Timothy Wayne Beall, Robin Dawn Betsill, Kim Beall Helms, Lisa McIver Unge, and by many special friends in his Wal-Mart family. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Ronald Beall, William Wayne (Billy) Beall, Jerry Beall; his sister, Betty Joan McIver; his nephew, Scott Beall; his dear friend and companion, Margaret; and his beloved dogs that he called his boys, Westly and Scotty Beall. In accordance with Mr. Beall's wishes, the body has been cremated and no service or visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Humane Society or Animal Rescue of the donor's choice. Claude A.
