Larry Lee Mote

MR. LARRY L. MOTE Mr. Larry L. Mote, 60, of Willow Park, Texas and a native of Newnan, died Thursday, July 17, 2014, at his home. Mr. Mote was born March 27, 1954, in Newnan, and lived in Georgia before making his home in Texas ten years ago. He was a veteran of service in the U. S. Air Force and was employed as an airplane mechanic. Survivors include his mother, Barbara Mote of Willow Park; son, Robert Mote of Houston, TX; daughter, Crystal Mote of Ft. Worth, TX; sisters, Elizabeth Bock and her husband, Walter of Willow Park, Debra Dowd and her husband, Billy of Weatherford, TX; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Eugene Mote. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 20, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend James Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 until 6 Saturday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
