Larry Kevin Thompson

Mr. Larry Kevin Thompson, 49, of LaGrange, passed away, Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at his home. Mr. Thompson was born, April 21, 1967, in DeKalb County, son of the late Larry Charles Thompson and Carol Annette Thompson. A resident of Troup County most of his life, he had been employed as a truck driver for Couch USA Ready-Mix. He enjoyed riding his Harley, attending Bike Rallies, going to flea markets, and working on cars. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Thompson; daughters, Haley Thompson and Miranda Thompson; son, Trae Laster, all of LaGrange; sisters, Michelle Cole of Hogansville, Kimberly Whitlock of LaGrange, Sharon Johnston of Newnan, Christy Massengale of Birmingham, AL, Tammy Lynn Thompson-Nichols of Griffin; and brothers, Wayne Thompson, Jody Thompson, Michael Smith, Scott Thompson, all of LaGrange, and Charlie Thompson of Newnan. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Jim Butler will officiate and interment will be in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Friday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
