Larry Hulett Jones

Larry Hulett Jones, 69, of Hogansville and LaGrange, passed away May 26, 2017, after a short illness. Larry was born April 4, 1948, to H. N. "Bill" and Irene Jones, who predeceased him. He was a graduate of Hogansville High School and a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 72, where he worked for many years as a pipefitter. Larry was part owner of Windy Hill Farm in Hogansville, where he enjoyed cattle farming and spent many days there with his beloved dogs, BB and Lily. He is survived by his sons Shannon (Kellie) Jones, Hogansville, Dr. Brenton (Angie) Jones, LaGrange, Lee (Amanda) Jones, Munford, TN; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Gary (Becky) Jones, Hogansville; special cousin John (Anne) Ball, Carrollton, GA; sister Patricia (Billy) Barrett, Roberta, GA; stepmother, Agatha Jones, LaGrange; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 17, at 2:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall of Hogansville First United Methodist Church.
