Lara Cassity Lovell

Mrs. Lara C. Lovell, 52, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2023, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Mrs. Lovell was born September 13, 1971, in Valdosta and lived in many locations as a child during her father's Air Force career. She earned a Masters of Education degree from Nova Southeastern University and had served as a teacher in the Meriwether County School System for more than fifteen years, most recently teaching fourth grade at Unity Elementary School in Luthersville. She was Baptist by faith.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Lovell, and her son, Connor Lovell, both of Hogansville; and her parents, Major Michael T. Cassity (USAF, ret.) and Linda Jones Cassity, of Flowery Branch.

Plans for a memorial service will be announced later.
