Mrs. Kimberlie Cleveland Petrillo, 64, of Easley, SC, passed away, Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Cancer Treatment Center of America in Newnan.
Mrs. Petrillo was born November 8, 1955, in Newnan and spent her childhood in Valley, Alabama. She earned her Bachelor's degree in marine science and her master's degree in public health from the University of South Carolina, and had served as an adjunct professor at Greenville (SC) Technical College. She attended Pathway Church in Anderson County, SC, enjoyed flower arranging, and loved her dog, Storm.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Petrillo; her mother, Joyce Hamilton Cleveland; step-son, Jeff Petrillo, all of Easley; and she dearly loved her step-grandsons, Bryson, Eli and Noah Petrillo. Kimberlie was preceded in death by her father, Douglas M. Cleveland, and her brothers, Scott K. Cleveland and Kevin D. Cleveland.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Randall Hodge officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 Friday afternoon.
A memorial service will also be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 1, at Pathway Church at 327 Mountain Springs Rd., in Piedmont, SC, with Pastor Mark McGuire officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 until 2 Saturday afternoon.
