Kevin Douglas Cleveland

August 20, 1957 — February 10, 2017

Mr. Kevin Douglas Cleveland, 59, of Easley, South Carolina, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017, at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born August 20, 1957, in Newnan, Mr. Cleveland was a former resident of the Troup County area and had made his home in Easley since 1991. He attended Southern Union State Community College and Troy State University and was employed by Schneider Electric in Senaca, South Carolina. Kevin loved to travel and through his work he had been able to visit many parts of the world. Survivors include his mother, Joyce Cleveland of Easley; and his sister and brother in-law, Kimberlie and Jim Petrillo, also of Easley. He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas M. Cleveland, and his brother, Scott K. Cleveland. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with Jim Petrillo officiating. The family will greet friends at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, P. O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
