Kerry Wayne Mallory

October 18, 1969 — March 21, 2024

Kerry W. Mallory, 54, of West Point, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Emory St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta.

Kerry was a good man, husband, father, and his most favorite of all—Pawpaw. He was employed as a mechanic for Troup County, where he served the citizens by helping keep all of the county officers and employees in safe and dependable transportation. He was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church and loved God. Kerry will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his son, Galen Stuart Mallory, and leaves behind his wife, Elaine; his daughter, Janet; his grandson, Caden; and his granddaughter, Anne. He is also survived by his brothers, Keith Mallory, Michael Mallory, Gary Mallory (Meatha), Charles Mallory (Kristin); his mother in-law, Martha Davis Stuart; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his son, he is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Anne Mallory; sisters, Lorrie Mallory Seymour and Janet Renee Mallory; and brother, Charles Donald Mallory, Jr.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 24, at Rosemont Baptist Church, with the Reverend Max McCord officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, prior to the service.
