Mr. Kenneth H. Dial, 87, of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Hospice LaGrange.
Mr. Dial was born April 14, 1932, son of the late Frank and Mozelle Chapman Dial. A lifelong resident of Hogansville, he was a graduate of Hogansville High School, was a member of First Baptist Church of Hogansville and retired as a supervisor from West Point Stevens Dunson Division in LaGrange. He loved his home and land, living first on his father's farm and later on his grandfather's farm. A lifetime animal lover, Mr. Dial held his many dogs close to his heart and found great joy in their companionship.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Sue "Susie" Dial of Hogansville; sons, Stanley Dial of LaGrange, Steven Dial and his wife Pam of Roswell, Chris Dial of Hogansville; step-sons, Terrell Wayne "Rock" Worthy and Kindall Dodgen of LaGrange, Tony Winston Worthy and his wife Josie of New Iberia, LA; step-daughter, Cindy Renee Roberts and her husband James of LaGrange; and grandchildren, Nikki Dial, Casey Ransone, Lindsey Ransone, Caitlin Roberts, Alex Worthy, Brylee-Kate Worthy, Ellie Worthy, Rosa Deyo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Caroline Gill.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Anthony Hovey will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 3 Tuesday afternoon.
