Kenneth Merrill Chase

Mr. Kenneth M. Chase, 64, of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Chase was born November 9, 1957, in LaGrange, had an entrepreneurial spirit, and was self-employed most of his life. He loved his church, the Lighthouse Tabernacle of Jesus Christ, and enjoyed singing and telling others about the Lord. He also loved to travel and to spend time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Carol Chase of Hogansville; his children, Kim Sharman of Valley, AL, Deanna Long (Brian) of Grantville, Kenneth M. Chase, Jr. (Melissa) also of Grantville, Rosa Dunlap (Clint) of LaGrange; his mother, Marie Couch of Grantville; brothers, Rodney Ball (Karen) and Randy Richardson (Lisa Pike), all of Hogansville; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Merrill John Chase. The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, at the Lighthouse Tabernacle of Jesus Christ in Hogansville. The Reverend Robert Longshore and the Reverend Gary McNeily will officiate and interment will be in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery in LaGrange.
