Mr. Kefon Tomell Tucker, 43, of Grantville, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016, at his home.
Mr. Tucker was born May 29, 1972 in Atlanta, but lived in this area all of his life. He had been employed as a truck driver and was a member of One Accord Baptist Church in Meriwether County. He was an avid motorcyclist and loved football.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie Elder Tucker; daughter, BreZhay Tucker; sons, Braxton Tucker and Brannon Tucker, all of Grantville; his mother, Annie Deloach Tucker and Rufus McGhee; grandmother, Mattie B. Moreland; aunt, Carolyn Woodard, all of Greenville; mother in-law, Pat Elder; brother in-law, Vince Elder; and nephews, Bryce Elder and Bravian Elder, all of Hogansville. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Tucker and his father in-law, Virgil Elder.
The family will receive friends at the family residence on Bohannon Rd. in Grantville and will have visitation at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Tuesday night.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Lincoln Anderson will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
