MRS. KATIE HARPER Mrs. Katie Partridge Harper, 82, formerly of Hogansville, died Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Bob Infinger and Pastor Alex Montgomery will officiate, with interment in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Harper was born October 4, 1927, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama, daughter of the late Brooks and Vera Milner Partridge. A former resident of Hogansville, Woodbury, and Manchester, she was a member of Woodbury United Methodist Church and had also attended Grace Covenant Worship Center in Hogansville. Survivors include her husband, Roy Harper; daughters and sons in-law, Janice and Jerry McLaughlin of Palm Harbor, FL and Lynn and Bo Williams of Port St. Joe, FL; son, Terry Mason of Lake Norman, NC; step-sons and their wives, Tommy Harper, Mark and Crystal Harper, David and Ginger Harper, all of Manchester; sisters, Nell Rogers of McDonough and Ethel Partridge of Alexander City, AL; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, February 1st, at Claude A.
