MRS. KATHY McLENDON Mrs. Kathy Gail McLendon, 59, of Grantville, died Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Vista Care Hospice at Franciscan Woods in Columbus. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 8, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Richard T. Clay will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery. Mrs. McLendon was born August 7, 1951, in Newnan, and was a lifelong resident of Coweta County. She was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith. Survivors include her daughters and son in-law, Tammy and Greg Storey of Moreland, Sheila McLendon and Connie McLendon, both of Grantville; son and daughter in-law, Robert, Jr. and Christy McLendon of Grantville; her mother, Sybil J. Harris of Newnan; sisters, Susan White of Gay, Lisa Knight and Billy Lamontagne, both of Newnan; her mother in-law, Mildred McLendon of Newnan; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee McLendon; her father, Horace W. Bass; and her step-father, Billy J. Harris. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Thursday night, Oct. 7th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Friday, Oct. 8, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Grantville Cemetery
