MRS. KATHRYN H. WILLIAMSON Mrs. Kathryn Hodges Williamson, 72, of Hogansville, died Monday, October 17, 2011, at Northeast Alabama Medical Center in Anniston. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dalton Hammock will officiate and interment will be in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. Mrs. Williamson was born June 9, 1939, in Heard County, daughter of the late Newton Alec Hodges and Lena Moman Hodges. A resident of Hogansville for fifty years, she was a charter member of The Pentecostal Church of LaGrange, where she was devoted to all activities of the church for many years. Survivors include her husband, Billy Williamson of Hogansville; daughter and son in-law, Carol and Jack Lindley of Oxford, AL; son and daughter in-law, Lamar and Sabrina Williamson of Hogansville; sister, Marie Couch of Hogansville, brother, Luther Lawrence Hodges of LaGrange; four grandchildren, Kelly Williamson, Kendall Brem Emanuel, Will Williamson, Hunter Williamson; and great-grandchild, Hilton Emanuel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Williamson; sister, Lela Arrington; and brother, Merle Hodges. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Tuesday night, October 18th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 19th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Meadoway Gardens Cemetery in LaGrange
