Mr. Karl R. Kelley, 70, of Luthersville, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018, at his home, with his wife by his side.
Mr. Kelley was born November 5, 1947, in Atlanta, son of the late Carl and Mildred Cooke Kelley. He earned his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Science degrees in Physics from Georgia Tech and retired as City Engineer for the City of Riverdale. He was a Mason and was a former member of the Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Kelley of Luthersville; children, Nathaniel Kelley of Clearwater, FL, Karla Cardell of Metter, Laura Petra Lambeth and her husband Jimmy of Conyers, Paul Kelley and his wife, Jackie of Acworth; twelve grandchildren, Kelley, Jessica, T. J., and Gracie Cardell; Aamoni, Jordan, Joshua; Jackson, Alex, Gabe, Robin, Ruby; ; and two great-grandchildren, Jayna and Maverick.
Viewing and visitation with the family will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 13, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.
