MRS. KAREN C. STITCHER Mrs. Karen Cato Stitcher, 61, of Moreland, died Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Hospice Atlanta at Emory Midtown Hospital. Mrs. Stitcher was born November 1, 1952, in Greenville, daughter of the late James Hardy (Pete) Cato and the late Mary Elizabeth Dollar Cato. A resident of Moreland for 31 years, she was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church at Woodbury and was employed at Yokogowa Corporation in Newnan for 26 years. Survivors include her husband, Russell Stitcher of Moreland; daughter, Katie Stitcher of Moreland; sister, Patricia Hurst of Greenville; and brothers, James H. Cato, Jr. and his wife, Dorothy, Robert Cato and his wife, Susan, all of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service was conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Mr. Jim Byce officiated and interment was in the Greenville Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.mckibbenfuneralhome.com Claude A.
