JW BONNER

Mr. JW Bonner, 76 of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born October 27, 1948, in Hogansville, Mr. Bonner was the son of the late James Wesley "Jack" Bonner and Jeanette Gaddy Bonner. He was a Vietnam veteran with the United States Army, managed various Food Depot locations in West Georgia, and had been a resident of Hogansville most of his life. Mr. Bonner attended Highland Baptist church and loved to travel.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Bonner of Hogansville; sons and daughter in-law, Jason Bonner of Atlanta and Jon and Brandi Bonner of Carrollton; sisters and brothers in-law, Jean and Bill McWhorter and Nadine and Lawson Boyd, all of Hogansville; and grandchildren, Breanna Livingston, Madison Bonner, and Maddox Bonner. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bonner was preceded in death by his sisters, Jackie Langford and Shirley Thompson; and a great-grandson, Ezra.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 18, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Terry Rainwater will officiate, and interment will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Saturday evening.
