MR. RAY HILL Mr. Julius Rayvon "Ray" Hill, 74, of Macon, died Friday, May 30, 2014, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Mr. Hill was born June 29, 1939, in Chocowinity, NC, son of the late Clyde Hill and Dora Edwards Hill Walker. A veteran of service in the U.S. Army, he had lived in Macon since 1982, retired as a manager from Electrolux Corporation after 35 years of service, and was a member of Mabel White Baptist Church in Macon. He was a wonderful husband, daddy, granddaddy, son and brother. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Sanders Hill of Macon; daughters, Lisa Hill of Tampa, FL and Patty Love of Macon; sons and daughters in-law, Gregory and Debbie Hill of Huntsville, AL, Billy Bowles and Cliff and Suzanne Bowles, all of Woodbury; sister and brother in-law, Judy and Billy Adams of Raleigh, NC; brothers and sisters in-law, Bruce and Barbara Hill of Raleigh, Don and Pam Hill of Chocowinity, NC; nine grandchildren, Jennifer and David Booker, Jessica Hill, Joanna Hill, Robby Bowles, Lindsay Bowles, Jeremy Love, Jamie Love, Will Bowles, Kim and John Martin; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 2, at Mabel White Baptist Church in Macon, with the Reverend Bobby Robinson officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. The family will receive friend at Mabel White Baptist Church from 10 until 11 Monday morning. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
