Julie Mae Kee

March 5, 1937 — July 5, 2021

Mrs. Julie Mae Kee of Sharpsburg, GA. went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 5, 2021. Known as Miss Judy to most, she was born March 5, 1937 in Tifton Georgia, daughter of the late Orr and Piney Hogan Bryant. She was a resident of the Coweta and Troup County area most of her life. She was an avid member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for everyone, drinking a cup coffee on the porch with friends and family, playing cards, helping the elderly, volunteering with the church food banks, helping and loving animals, and growing the most beautiful flower gardens. To have known Miss Judy was to know and understand first and foremost what it meant to be a person of faith. Her love for her husband of 69 years was true and undeniable. She was a teacher of life for many, a person who was beautiful, stubborn, selflessness and loved with all of her heart. She was a fighter for all things that she believed in and never gave up easily. She loved her family, her dog, Missy and her husband unconditionally and never faltered from that love. Her surviving family includes her husband, Albert Kee; her children and their spouses, James and Paula Kee, Donald and Sandra Kee, Marissa and Danny Hyde, Danny and Patti Kee, Janet and Ellis Paulk, Melissa and Alex Harris; her brother Billy J. Bryant; 17 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many more who knew her as Moma. The viewing will be conducted at 2:00p.m. and the funeral service will follow at 3:00p.m., on Thursday, July 8th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Jimmy Evans officiating. The family asks that in lieu of flowers please donate in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Cards may be sent to 236 Tope Rd. Sharpsburg, Ga. 30277. Condolences may be expressed at www.mckibbenfuneralhome.com. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
